Here's the thing- All you need is one resource to teach early reading and spelling.
No printing, no scattered materials, no endless searching, just one simple tool that works.
For nearly two decades, I taught first through fifth grade as an ELA teacher, literacy coordinator, and interventionist in a New York City private school. Each September, my first graders arrived with no prior reading instruction, and I had just one hour a day or less, including transitions and everything else, to teach them to read and write. Yet, year after year, they learned quickly and confidently.
Although I am trained in Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, Fundations and other popular approaches, I found that no single program worked consistently across all learners. What did work was clear, focused, research-aligned instruction delivered with intention and expertise. Still, preparing materials took hours. I imagined a tool that could do it all, a single plug-and-play resource that made quality instruction easy for any teacher, tutor, or parent to deliver.
That’s how B.Lit was born, a dry-erase workbook system that transforms literacy science into simple, high-impact practice. Whether a child is just beginning or still struggling to crack the code, B.Lit helps them make real progress fast.
